Material characterization tests

Our laboratory is equipped with some of the most advanced experimental techniques, including dynamic testing machines, high-speed video recording, digital image correlation software, climate chamber to perform tests at real temperature, etc.
We cover different types of mechanical tests, including static, dynamic, fatigue, etc.
We can test a wide range of materials, including metals, polymers, both non-reinforced and reinforced, elastomers, fabrics, composites (thermoplastics and thermosets), adhesives, joints, etc.

CAE and generation of material cards for simulation

We understand CAE as an indispensable part of development processes. We use these tools and work to improve their predictions by creating and using material cards as representative as possible of the simulated materials.
Our experience in this field allows us to define experimental characterization, analysis and validation methods specifically focused on satisfying the needs of the CAE codes.
We model materials and joints using some of the most advanced material laws, including dependencies such as strain rate, failure, triaxiality, anisotropy, etc.
We apply simulation tools both for the adjustment and validation of the material models and to support our clients in their development activities.
